Through advocacy, education, and community programs, we work to reduce the burden of kidney disease and help people take charge of their health.
About Founder
Damilola Osuolale, also known as Kidney Kaptain, is the Founder and Executive Director of Precious Kidney Health Empowerment Foundation(PKHEF), a leading non-profit organization she started in 2023.
Damilola is a kidney transplant recipient,Public health educator, and passionate advocate for kidney health across the World. Her personal journey through kidney failure and recovery inspired her to create PKHEF.
A nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness, promoting healthy lifestyles, and providing free screenings for hypertension and diabetes, the leading causes of kidney disease.
Popularly known as the “Kidney Kaptain,” Damilola uses her story to inspire hope and drive change. Through PKHEF,and her personal storytelling she has reached over a million (1,000,000)individuals with lifesaving information, supported patients in need, and partnered with schools,government and communities to promote preventive health education.
She has been actively involved in spreading kidney health awareness, visiting radio stations, workshops as well as reaching schools across Nigeria.
Her work in both digital spaces and physical outreach has played a significant role in educating people on the importance of kidney health and the steps they can take to prevent kidney disease. She is also a public speaker, storyteller, and award-winning changemaker.
Her dedication to the cause has earned her recognition through several prestigious awards, including:
Maya Awards Africa 2023: Winner, Charities/Social Services Brand of the Year.
Times Watch News Magazine, May 11, 2024: African Integrity Hallmark Award, conferred on Damilola Osuolale for her contributions to nation-building and the good of humanity in Nigeria and beyond.
TIBA Awards 2024, November 9, 2024: Distinct Positive Values of the Year Award, presented by Iconic Brand Africa in recognition of her commitment to upholding positive values and ethics in her professional endeavors.

Our Mandate
At Precious Kidney Health Empowerment Foundation PKHEF our mandate is clear:
To reach at least 2,000,000 people across Nigeria and Africa with life-saving education, free health screenings, and preventive care on kidney health, hypertension, and diabetes by 2030.
Through school health tours, rural community outreach, advocacy programs, and strategic partnerships, we are on a mission to build a future where preventable kidney disease is drastically reduced and communities can make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
